Seeking: Someone Who ‘Gets’ Us

  1. Wow. This is such a thought provoking post! I always said I wanted to be understood, even until recently, but you’re right. We won’t need to explain ourselves to the right person – and common goals and values are the most important thing. Wishing you the best for your self-love journey. I will definitely be reading more of your posts. đŸ™‚

    1. It definitely feels nice to have someone in our lives who really enjoys who we are. And when we are full of our own love, we can move past the love we need and welcome the love we enjoy. I appreciate your feedback so much, wishing you the best as well. đŸ’™

  2. As someone who talks a lot, and says a lot of stupid things, this was eye opening. I like the idea of not needing a partner to ‘understand you’. To me that sounds like being an outsider in the world and having a partner for an interpreter. To me that’s a helper not a partner. Well written.
